Upcoming music artist and producer, Teddy Jackson, drops the thrilling, politically charged new single and music video; "Pull Up". The track directly references Rihanna’s acclaimed NAACP speech, where she discussed the importance of unifying communities and called for allies to “pull up” on Black issues.

As a track the only lasts just over a minute, no time is wasted, packing a powerful punch and a meaningful message, the track exudes prowess and inspiration, giving a listener a hard hitting sonic and visual experience that reminds us all, there has never been a more important time to 'pull up'.

The passionate single, which is a far cry from Teddy’s incredible laidback debut Pretty Runaways, was written by the emerging singer-songwriter shortly after Hungary voted to end legal recognition of trans people. Teddy says the protests and demonstrations that have erupted across the world with the incredible Black Lives Matter movement, have allowed the track to “take on another level of meaning.”

Teddy actively calls out the lack of media coverage on LGBTQA+ and BAME issues, expressing his feelings towards the way no positive action is taken outside the realms of social media. The track is an anthem to anyone who feels out of place within the binaries of our limited society, but also acts as a message to bigots and governments who continue to refuse the rights to LGBTQA+ and BAME communities.

"People who are silent are complicit, people who are complicit support the structural oppression plaguing society. They are supporting racism. They are supporting homophobia. They are supporting transphobia. They are supporting Xenophobia. They are the oppressor."
